My fee for standard 45 min appointments is $260. This fee is comparable to the fees charged by other therapists in the Atlanta area. I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. If you do wish to use your medical insurance, you may want to call the company prior to the first session get a sense for how much you can expect to be reimbursed based on your insurance plan. The number to call is usually on the back of your insurance card. Some people choose not to use their medical benefits for reasons of privacy, and that is okay, too. Also, if you have a medical flexible spending account (FSA), psychotherapy expenses are usually eligible for reimbursement through that plan.
It is my policy to collect the full fee at the time of your appointment and give you the documents to file with your insurance company for reimbursement.
